Working with Andrea in Supervision, we soon developed a relationship of high trust which allowed for vulnerable, honest exploration and reflections on my practice. I could pose questions from practical and ethical, to theoretical and philosophical.
Her ability to hold a balance of safety and challenge supported me to address complex questions in safe ways. I could also take risks to bring naive questions to Supervision.
I would take away immediate action plans and ideas, I would also reflect and continue to gain insight for several days following each session. I enjoyed making deeper and greater meaning from topics brought to Supervision from my therapeutic work with clients.
Andrea offers a wealth of knowledge and experience to support practitioners from new to very experienced. Sessions were stimulating, client focused and modelled values and ethics of best practice.
Andrea is experienced as a Counsellor, Supervisor, Facilitator and Manager. Her recommendations for further research enhanced my experience of high quality continued professional development.
It is hard to capture the quality of experience I had in Supervision with Andrea in a few words. The quality of support I had as a professional practitioner in some very challenging environments, the ethics and learning I have kept in my practice years later, speak of the value I experienced.
I would not hesitate to choose Andrea as my Professional Supervisor again and I recommend the experience to anyone interested in stimulating sessions, professional development and robust conversations held in safety.
